Do NOT buy from Chinabuye

Do not buy from Chinabuye. I bought a phone from them for $150. It took 60 days to arrive thus negating the option of getting your money back through Paypal. It lasted a week and then kept stalling, then turning itself off and even turning itself on. I would have to take out the battery to make it boot every time. It was doing this up to 20 times a day. Chinabuye completely ignored me. This has happened to thousands of buyers from reading various forums. I cannot afford to lose that much money because I am a pensioner. Last week the phone went in the rubbish, To all buyers...BEWARE...read all the forums.

Chinabuye will take your money and send you rubbish products that do not work from the get-go. They will stall in any way they can -- either before you have time to complain to them (by stalling shipment) or after (by pretending not to understand what you are talking about).

They are polite. That is all that can be said for them.

"Do not be intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy or decency."

Extortion-Scam

I bought a phablet from a Chinese firm called Chinabuye Limited. After 6 weeks and numerous correspondence with Mini-their sales representative-a conclusion was reached that the item was lost. The money would not be refunded until their package arrived back to their hands in China. Time frame unknown. After 90 days-if no complaint filed with PayPal the claim is not valid and you lose any recourse. First I filed a claim especially after Mini stated that for $40 USD they would re-send my initial item back to me. I protested since when I bought the phablet I also bought Insurance for lose or defect. Then Mini-was doing me a favor and would re-send it again for $35 USD. Crazy-right- they gave me a tracking # and asked me to visit and call my Post Office. Like a dummy I spent 3 visits to 3 different Post Offices- numerous phone calls- and at least 10-20 e-mails. Time wasted 10 hrs- I make $40-$50 per hour. Well once I filed a claim with Paypal- the item mysteriously arrived with 2 days. The gadget is missing pieces- the manual is in Chinese- and the Firm requested me to mail it back air mail-per Post Office $60 USD. Finally enough is enough- Paypal redeemed my money $90.91- I was told to keep the defective item due to exorbarant shipping costs-so I keep a piece of junk. I want redemption- I want to be compensated for my time/gas/frustration/accussations and finally 8 weeks of frustartion. My time value $400- but to be rational I will acceppt a product that works - preferbly a phone unlocked that is 5.5 inches large- with a battery that can be inserted and removed. After reading this complaint-wouldn't you agree that compensation is due for all the above gimmicks. Remember the extortion of $40- the defective product Insurance I bought for lose and defect- and the scam folks is keep them waiting-time frame expires- you win-they lose- they keep your cash- you get nothing except aggravation.

Scam- attempt to Extort Money

On 01/14/14- I bought a phablet from this firm in China for $90.97-including Insurance for loss and or damage. After 3-4 weeks I contacted the firm-spoke to Mini their representative- who validated that it was lost in the mail and being returned back to China. Then when it arrived then and only then would I be reimbursed for the product. Since I bought it via PayPal I had 90 days to file a complaint or I lost the money and product. So I asked Mini-about the Insurance for loss –she/he ignored this conversation entirely and stated that for $40 USD they would send me a replacement- so now I would be paying $130 for the $90 item. When I challenged them they stated they would drop it to $35 USD- again paying $125 for the same item. What the heck? So Mini gives me a tracking #- I spend 3 hours traveling to various Post Offices- then 2 hours on the phone with various Post Offices-and then 2 hours on at least 10 e-mails back and forth. Finally I contacted PayPal- on 02/21/14- on 02/24/14- the package that was lost arrived –a miracle. Now it is entirely in Chinese and has pieces missing. I did manage to get my money back in March 2014. I am furious since between time-gas-traveling-phone calls-e mails I have spent way over $240 of my time for this useless piece of junk. Someone should contact them-and not allow them to dupe US citizens with their cheap electronics ploys. Sellers name- Chinabuye Limited Sellers e-mail- info@***.com Rep- Mini Address- Room 500 Block 106 Technology Park North Huaqiang , Futian District Shen Zhen Guangdong Province 518000 China Please warn innocent people of this ploy- after 90 days they hope you give up-so time will expire- they keep your money-you have no recourse and get no products. As I was duped- between the time I spent-money spent- and the defective product- they should be banned and stopped. Leon Mauer- have documents to validate all these claims at my disposal.

Chinabuye.com

I purchased two cell phones supposed to be like a faux "samsung galaxy note II" it took two months from the day of purchase with several calls and emails plus a dispute from paypal just to receive them. The first phone I opened had a cracked screen and no stickers on the inside of the phone with "lint" stuck to where a sticker use to be which indicated to me that this phone was used. This phone also came with a stylus which does note work with the phone at all which does not really bother me that much but still it was supposed to work and did not. the phone also stopped working the second day I had it went to a complete white screen. In the description the seller (chinabuye.com) listed that the phone came with a white leather case and it did not come with it when I contacted the company they offered me 5% off my next purchase and also they told me that they would not send me another phone or repair it but if I spent $800 they would take $170 off of it as a refund to me for my phone. haha what *** joke this company is!!! I hope they burn in *** (and thats just being nice)
